เดอะการ์เดียน

เดอะการ์เดียน (อังกฤษ: The Guardian) เป็นหนังสือพิมพ์รายวันของบริติช ก่อตั้งในแมนเชสเตอร์เมื่อปี 1821 ในชื่อ เดอะแมนเชสเตอร์การ์เดียน จากนั้นได้เปลี่ยนชื่อในปี 1959 และย้ายไปลอนดอน เดอะการ์เดียน เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการ์เดียนมีเดียกรุปซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของโดยบริษัทสกอตต์ทรัส หนังสือพิมพ์เติบโตเป็นหนังสือพิมพ์ประจำชาติ และได้ก่อตั้งกลุ่มสื่อที่เป็นสาขาย่อยนำเสนอข่าวต่างประเทศและออนไลน์ หนังสือพิมพ์ในเครือ ดิออบเซิร์ฟเวอร์ (หนังสือพิมพ์วันอาทิตย์ของอังกฤษ) และเดอะการ์เดียนวีกลี (หนังสือพิมพ์สรุปบทความต่างประเทศจากหนังสือพิมพ์หลาย ๆ ฉบับ) หนังสือพิมพ์มีเว็บไซต์นำเสนอข่าวออนไลน์ภายในประเทศคือเว็บไซต์ เดอะการ์เดียนดอตคอม และเว็บไซต์ต่างประเทศ ได้แก่ การ์เดียนออสเตรเลีย และการ์เดียนยูเอส เดอะการ์เดียน มีอิทธิพลต่อรูปแบบและการตีพิมพ์ เป็นผู้สนับสนุนรางวัลต่าง ๆ มากมาย นอกจากนี้ยังมีโครงการสื่ออื่น ๆ คือ การ์เดียนฟิล์ม ทั้งนี้ เดอะการ์เดียน มีบรรณาธิการคืออลัน รัสบริดเจอร์ ตั้งแต่ 1995-2015 และแคทารีน ไวเนอร์ มารับช่วงต่อ
