เรเวอเรนด์[1]ทอมัส โรเบิร์ต มาลธัส (อังกฤษ: Thomas Robert Malthus; 13 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1766 - 23 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 1834[2]) ทอมัส โรเบิร์ต มาลธัสเป็นนักวิชาการคนสำคัญชาวอังกฤษที่มีอิทธิพลต่อเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมืองและประชากรศาสตร์[3][4] มาลธัสเป็นผู้เผยแพร่ทฤษฎีเศรษฐศาสตร์ “เศรษฐศาสตร์การเช่า”[5]
